Dana Tatar
USA
Sponsor Coordinator

Bio: My name is Dana Tatar and I am a stay-at-home mom currently living in Florida with my husband and two daughters.  I have had many hobbies over the years, but scrapping is the one that really gives me satisfaction. I started scrapbooking to preserve memories after the birth of my first daughter and now I enjoy the creative outlet. I love to mix products from different collections on my layouts and I frequently find inspiration in music, poetry and pop culture. I love fussy cutting and flowers and both can be seen on the majority of my projects. My dominant scrappy styles are clean and simple and pretty chic, but I do like to mix things up a bit, depending on the paper or photos I want to use.  I create a little of everything, including layouts, cards, tags, ATCs, arches and small gift and home decor items.  When I'm not scrapping, I enjoy cooking and baking, reading, listening to music and spending time outdoors with my family and basset hound. I'm thrilled to be a part of the Zeus and Zoe team and I'm looking forward to sharing my work with you! I'd love to have you stop by my blog: http://datatar.blogspot.com.

Yvonne Yam
Singapore
DT Coordinator

Hello there! I'm Yvonne and I live on a tiny island in Asia called Singapore where it's hot and humid all year round (no real need for a heat gun here since everything dries up really quickly..lol).

I love to make stuff! Layouts, cards and altered projects. I get giddy with anticipation when I discover unexpected "found" stuff around the house (or someone else's) that I can incorporate on my creations. Old vintage photos. Cute kawaii things. Pretty trinkets. I love them all. So you can guess how excited I was when I saw the product offering at Zeus and Zoe *wipes off drool*. Just totally yummy. I can't wait to create with them! Meanwhile, come visit me at my blog Do More With Less where I share weekday inspiration, tutorials and tips.

Denise van Deventer
South Africa

I am a devoted mother, giving wife and happy creator!  I am a very happy scrapper and love creating layouts, as well as cards and altered projects. I am not sure that I have a particular style, probably somewhere between classic and shabby.   I love chipboards and embelishments, and I am always keen to try new things and once I have an idea, I really have to run with it, and must get to it as soon as I possibly can! I give classes at two local Scrapbook stores and love sharing my ideas and creativity with others.

Many things inspire me and my son and family are definitely two of those things.  I also love colour and layering, but sometimes clean and simple does the trick. I love photography and really enjoy taking good photo’s that can later be scrapped.  I truly believe that great photo’s make for great projects.

I work in the IT department at South African Airways and this really keep me busy.  I work with a really great bunch of people and I really enjoy what I do. So I am blessed to have a great job as well as my passion for paper crafting!

My blog address is www.strawbspatch.blogspot.com and I would really appreciate it, if you would pop by and say HI.

Thanks to Marivic for this wonderful opportunity at Zeus and Zoe and really look to this DT term!

Hi! I'm Janel the author extraordinaire (ha! that makes me sound fancy) at NellieBellie. NellieBellie is a creative blog with a little bit of crafting, a little bit of cooking, a little bit of DIY, and a whole lot of giggling. My goal is to empower others to practice creativity in their homes and relationships. I believe creativity teaches individuality and worth. . I want to inspire personal creativity in my home and yours. I love teaching, sharing, and gabbing about my projects, recipes, and life; with the goal that it encourages creativity in yours. My hope is that you and I become friends in our creative messes. Friends that gab and share are the best kind, don't you think!

My name is Norma Gomez.  I'm blessed with a wonderful husband and three sweet boys ranging from 26-10 years of age.  That's quite a gap right?!  We're a modern family of his, hers and ours.  I also have two adorable grandchildren whom I love dearly.  I work from home while babysitting my grandson, four dogs and trying to maintain the household.   Aside from all that, I'm a mixed media artist and I sell my art at a local antiques and craft mall. I've had a life long love of anything and everything creative.  I've been sketching and playing with different art mediums for as long as I can remember.  My style and art focus has changed many times over the years but I think that mixed media best reflects who I am.  I really love the freedom of expression that I get from the limitless material possibilities.  Anything you can dream of can be used to create something beautiful.  If I had to describe my crafting style, I would say it's vintage artsy full of color and contrast with loads of layers.  My hope is to create something beautiful that also inspires.  I want to make people smile when they look at my artwork and maybe even take away a little something that they needed to hear that day.  I'm honored to be joining this group of extremely talented designers and look forward to sharing my love of art with you.

Riika Kovasin
Finland

Hello! I am Riikka Kovasin from Helsinki, Finland. I am married and have two daughters. They are a constant source of inspiration to me and also are the reason why I started scrapbooking in 2009.

My style is colorful and rich in detail. I'm happiest when I can combine my love for the beautiful products with the possibility to get messy with different paint media. I love to combine different products and techniques to express my feelings and to preserve the everyday life for myself and my family.

I'm honoured to join the Zeus&Zoe team!

My name is Rosangela Philippsen, but all people call me only by "Ro". I live in a beautiful city called Curitiba, in the South of Brazil, with my beloved hubby and my 16 old year son, Rafael. I´m graduated in Philosophy, and today I live among papers, scissors and inks! I scrapbook every day, I give lessons; I travel with my courses in my country and go to fairs too. I am passionate about creating and inspiring different people and I love trying new and interesting materials in my designs.

I also love to travel and experience new cultures. I like reading and cinema is also a passion. Sunny days make me happier, and when spring comes my soul vibrates! It's me!

Sandie Edwards
Australia

Hello!  I’m Sandie and reside in Geraldton, Western Australia with my partner John who works in the mining industry (FIFO), along with our son, Jesse who turns 3 in March, 2013.  We are older parents, and also have grown up children, as well as Grandchildren.  I am currently a stay at home Mother, with my previous employment being law enforcement.
Creativity has been part of 'life' for as long as I can remember.  It has been an amazing journey and one that has continually evolved.  My scrapbooking journey started in 2010, seeking to create memories for my children, and document ‘life’ for future generations.
My creative motto is to continually push boundaries and comfort zones, to share, create, be an inspiration to others, and of course create everlasting memories. My creative style is not set in stone, though I tend to lean heavily towards, vintage and shabby chic.

Love tag

I'm a bit sad to be here with my very last post for Zeus & Zoe today. I really enjoyed working with the gorgeous goodies from Zeus & Zoe Etsy store the past couple of months. For today I have a tag to share with you. This tag is also my example for the 'Love' challenge for the month of February. You still have a couple of hours to play along and to be in the running for a wonderful prize package.

The items from Zeus & Zoe that I used on my tag are: music note paper, kraft envelope, chipboard crown and a vintage button (the anchor). You can find these and many more lovely vintage items in the Zeus & Zoe Etsy store

Thank you so much for stopping by on the Zeus & Zoe blog! Have a wonderful last day of February!

A vintage lay-out by Romy

Hi there! It's Romy and I have a vintage lay-out to share with you, that I made using some of the gorgeous items from the Zeus & Zoe Etsy store. This photo of my friend and me was taken a few weeks ago, when it was still typically winter cold. But actually I was really in the mood for summer, so I decided to make a rather summery lay-out for this photo.

The gorgeous vintage papers with the script printed on it are from my Zeus and Zoe kit. I also matted my photo on an old postcard and an old book page, which are from Zeus & Zoe Etsy store too. The Webster's flower and vintage buttons are also from my Zeus & Zoe kit.

The flower actually had a pearl in its center, but I changed it into one of the vintage buttons, as I thought that gave the flower a nice vintage twist.

Have you checked out Marivic' Etsy store yet? She regulary adds new items to it and you can find wonderful items for each style of scrapbooking in the store. If you like, you can take a look here and see for yourself :)

Thank you so much for taking a look at our blog today! I will be back later this week to show you my example for the 'Love' challenge.

Challenge LO Live Laugh Love

Hi Ladies,

Cathy here, to share my creation made for this month's Challenge which was set by the lovely Gayle Price.  The theme is all about LOVE.   All you need to do is create a project based on something or someone you love, and make sure the "word" LOVE is obvious on your page. Click HERE for challenge details & rules.

Live Laugh Love

I have created a LO for this month's challenge using some gorgeous flowers, lace, heart ribbon and vintage button from my Zeus and Zoe Kit available from Marivic's Etsy Shop.  I altered the lovely metal heart frame which was also part of my kit, with some silver Viva Decor paste and backed it with pp and a rubon.

I am trying to be a bit more adventurous with mixed media techniques and  had a little play with some layers on my background.  The pp's are from Maja Designs.

February " LOVE" Challenge

Hi. Gayle here again to share a page made for our February Challenge which is all about LOVE. You can never have enough of that, hey!
Create a page based on something or someone you love, and make sure the "word" LOVE is obvious on your page. The rules on how to play are included at the end of this post.

My page is based on the enduring love my parents had for each other. The photograph is of the bundle of "love letters" that my mother received from my father during the Second World War when he was based in England as an airman in the Royal Australian Air Force.
Two and a half years before the war ended the letters suddenly stopped. My mother was told my father was "missing in action, presumed dead".
I can't imagine the intense sorrow and anguish my mother must have gone through, but she never gave up hope that he may still be alive.
When the war ended my father was found alive, and returned home to be reunited with mum. He had spent two and a half years in Rangoon Prison after his plane had been shot down and landed in the jungle in Burma where he was captured.
He had been a prisoner of war for two and a half years but neither he , nor my mother gave up hope and always believed they would be together again.

This page has been created using papers, flowers, buttons and doilies that came in my Zeus and Zoe kit available from Marivic's Etsy Shop.

The prize up for grabs is a pretty Kaisercraft paper pad, a Martha Stewart punch, some blooms, and some Distress Stain.

Mini 'thoughts' book!

Hi everyone! Sandi here. Today I'd like to share a mini 'thoughts' book that I made with my amazing Zeus and Zoe kit! This was so fun putting it together and oh so easy! I simply took the pattern 'instruction sheet', that was included in my kit, and folded and sewed a tad, and then added some kit embellishments and voila!

Here's the cover:

I added a little gesso and pp, from the kit, for the cover. I thought I would fill the pages with things that I like, want to try, or simply what makes me happy.

Here's my first page:

This year, I'd like to add more texture/embellies to my pages. For this page, I added some pp and that sweet button, from my kit.

Here's another page:

For this page, I added some stones, from a vintage necklace that was in my kit. The pic doesn't show how pretty the stones are in real life.....but they are fab!

Just think of what kind of a mini you could do with one of these kit! And right now, Marivic is putting together 'custom' kits. Yup, that's right, so if you have some ideas, just let her know your thoughts and if you want to add some amazing goodies, I invite you to visit our Zeus and Zoe Etsy shop....you're going to love what you see!

See you again soon! You're going to love what the DT has created for you to feast your eyes on in the weeks to come!

Hugs, Sandi!

Love lo!

Hi everyone! Sandi here. Today I'd like to share a lo, of my sister, that I did for our latest 'love' challenge. What a fun challenge this one is....and so easy! We can't wait to see what you'll come up with!

For this lo, I used bits and pieces, and the background paper, from my Z&Z kit. Also used was the heart behind the pic, which I cut out from a vintage piece of linen. In addition, I used a piece of floral material and a cloths pin from the kit. That's one of the fabulous things about these kits, they have all kinds of vintage and up to date embellies! And right now, Marivic is excepting orders for custom made kits....yeah!

I invite you to come visit us regularly for some amazing DT inspiration. And if you'd like to browse our Z&Z Etsy store, for some wonderful goodies that you may want to add to your custom kit, you can by going here. You're going to love what you see!

Thanks for stopping by. See you again soon!
Hugs, Sandi

February Challenge

Hi every one, Gayle here to present the February Challenge. As if you  didn't already know, it is the month of love.
I am also admitting to you that my birthday falls on February 14th. Yes, I am a Valentines Day baby, made with love.
So, my challenge choice is to create a project about LOVE.................
That gives you lots of different options and interpretations to choose from.
The only stipulation is that the WORD "LOVE" must be obvious on your project.
It could be Valentined themed or marriage, children, home, animals, food, music, sports,, shoes, chocolate. Whatever your heart tells you to express that is all about LOVE.

In my Zeus and Zoe kit , Marivic included this chipboard house. Oh, what do I do with it !
Well, I think love begins at home. Home is where the heart is, and home is where every one should feel safe and loved, so I have very lovingly decorated this little house and included some family members peeking out through the windows. There is also a doll peeking out the window and her name is Mary, I have had her all my life and I love her too.
