Desk Calendar

For my last Design Team Project, (I can't believe 6 months have gone by so quickly), I decided to make something that would take me through 2015, a desk calendar.

As my base I used a Maya Road ATC card holder, (such a versatile piece,) and added a few cardstock pieces to complete the year.

Using some papers from the Paper Studio Sara Teasdale collection and some narrow laces and trim, that add to the vintage feel, I covered each of the atc-size chipboard piece for my calendar then added some tiny calendar pieces that I printed from the internet.

Each of 6 cards are decorated slightly different with an array of petite flowers, beads, sequins, buttons, tiny bling pieces, and small vintage doily or applique pieces from the awesome kits at Zeus and Zoe's

I had a great time creating a variety of different projects during the past 6 months with the supplies from these fun vintage kits, and I will get to enjoy this piece on my desk for the rest of the year.

Thank you for the opportunity to design for you, thank you all for your support and don't forget to check out the shop for great vintage kits, embellishments and art supplies!

Altered frame - by DT Zanka

Hello!
Today is my last post, ending my DT term for Zeus and Zoe DT.

I have saved some best pieces of my DT pack for this project:) It's an altered wooden frame, a wall piece.

Some close ups:
I adhered pieces of scrapbook papers and vintage prints to the frame, using mod podge.

A beautiful flower by Prima accompanied by vintage buttons and metal butterflies. Most of the embellishments I painted with gesso. The centre of the biggest button I filled up with the mini pearls.

For the background I used pieces of fabric and laces which I stained with glimmer mists.

Supplies: Papers, vintage prints, buttons, laces, flowers, metal embellishments : Zeus and Zoe
From my stash: chipboard text, glimmer mists , gesso, mini pearls, mod podge.

Thank you so much for our time together at Zeus and Zoe ! I had lots of fun working with the unique mix of brand and vintage items.
With love!

You Have Stolen My Heart with Dana

Hi Zeus and Zoe fans! Happy New Year! Dana here today sharing a winter themed layout of my favorite castle. I've been following the restoration of the Chateau de Gudanes, a castle in the south of France, and this is just one of the stunning photos of this gorgeous historic monument.

I layered several vintage magazine and sheet music pages under my photo. I also found a vintage calendar page in my Zeus and Zoe Kit that was perfect to document the month this photo was taken.

I tucked bit of beaded trim and lace between the layers of paper. I topped the photo with a sticker that reads "You have stolen my heart."

No layout is complete without a touch of bling! I love the vintage buttons from the Zeus and Zoe Etsy Shop!

I hope you are finding fun ways to stay warm during the winter months! Thanks for stopping by today!
